A grand jury has decided not to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot black teen Michael Brown.

11:52 EST - 40 gunshots have been fired in the last 15 minutes, according to Fox News.

9:30 EST - Officer Darren Wilson will not be indicted.
9:23 EST - "The law allows all people to use deadly force to defend themselves in certain situations," a prosecutor for the Ferguson case said.
9:20 EST - "Our investigation has been completed," a prosecutor said of the Ferguson decision. He said that the most significant challenge in the case has been the "24 hour news cycle" looking for "something, anything" to talk about.
8:40 EST - Cities around the nation are bracing for the grand jury's decision. The Los Angeles Police Department has been placed on a city wide alert in anticipation of the decision announcement. "This is a significant, rare move by law enforcement only done when trouble is anticipated," NBC reported.
Several states north, in Seattle, large protest expected,  if Wilson is not indicted. "Seattle Mayor Ed Murray planned to give orders to Seattle's Emergency Management Operations Center," the Seattle NBC affiliate reported. "Seattle police officers were being told to have their demonstration management gear accessible to them."
8:10 EST - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon spoke ahead of the grand jury's announcement. He emphasized peaceful protest, but made it clear that officials had a plan in place should the protests get violent.
Breitbart News reporter Michelle Moons listened to Nixon's remarks at a press conference. "They are hoping it won't get violent," Moons said. "They want to allow peaceful protest but do have a plan in place if it gets violent. Nixon refused to give any deals about such an intervention plan. They are hoping that things die down so that the community can start to heal."

H9 Water: Hydrating 6x faster than bottled water.

                                                                             H9 Water

Your cells, all 100 trillion of them, rely on structured water to provide energy and nutrients for optimum cellular health. When your cells thrive, they can do what they do best, fight disease and keep you healthy, radiant and more youthful. Ordinary water relies on the body to properly structure water molecules for cell absorption, and as a result, most of the water you drink is not absorbed and simply passes through your body. Science proves it. So for optimum cellular health and better hydration, reach for the H9, enjoy the crisp fresh taste, and drink up to your good health. A bottle a day is all you need. Isn’t that refreshing?

Hydrogen-rich structured water

HYDROGEN-RICH STRUCTURED WATER

One Bottle, 100 Trillion
Cellular Benefits
Water in its natural state, cascading down a waterfall for example is activated with hydrogen and contains a unique molecular structure that allows easy absorption into our cells. When water travels through a pipe more than 300 feet, it loses that structure, energy, and life force.
H9 Hydrogen-Rich Structured Water undergoes a nine-step patented process to return water to its pristine state.
Structured water is energized and activated to:
  • Boost cellular hydration, a key to good health
  • Energize the cells and lift energy levels
  • Maintain the integrity of core DNA molecules, which are filled with structured water
  • Encourage the removal of toxins and acidic waste
  • Improve cell-to-cell communication for healing and repair
  • Speed oxygen and nutrient transport and absorption
  • Empower cells and tissues to self-repair and generate energy

Ole Miss vs Arkansas. Game Preview and My Prediction

After losing two straight games to drop out of playoff talks, the Ole Miss Rebels took it to a lowly FCS school in Presbyterian, winning by a score of 48-0. However, Ole Miss may not be completely out of the race as they sit at No. 8 in the nation in the latest polls and somehow still have a shot. Beating the Arkansas Razorbacks on the road would be a huge step in the right direction, but Bret Bielema‘s squad is coming off a huge win against LSU and has a ton of confidence.

Bo Wallace has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the nation for the Rebels, leading the 33rd-best passing offense in the country. The senior signal-caller has passed for 2,554 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing a solid 64 percent of his passes. Sophomore wide out Laquon Treadwell was his favorite target before suffering a season-ending leg injury just three weeks ago in a devastating loss. Senior receiver Vince Sanders and junior target Cody Corewill have to pick up the slack in his absence. Sanders has accounted for a team-high 647 yards and six touchdowns this season while Core has added 437 yards and five TDs of his own. The run game is led by junior Jaylen Walton who has just 398 yards and four touchdowns.

Like many Bielema-led teams in the past, the Razorbacks have been known more for their run game rather than their aerial attack. While Brandon Allen is having a solid season through the air, passing for 1,905 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions, Arkansas has been far more reliant on its 22nd-ranked rushing attack. Leading the way in the run game is junior Jonathan Williams who has 932 yards and 11 touchdowns on six yards per carry and right behind him is sophomore Alex Collins who has 886 yards and 11 touchdowns on 5.9 yards per touch. Keon Hatcher has been effective in catching the ball, racking up 34 receptions for 435 yards and three touchdowns while Hunter Henryis a close second with 417 yards and two touchdowns on 30 catches.

Defensively, the Razorbacks have improved mightily in recent games. Arkansas has the 27th-best scoring defense as well as the 23rd-best total defense this year. Ole Miss has also been quite impressive, ranking first in the nation in points allowed to go along with the 10th-best total defense in the country.

Ole Miss will travel to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks at 2:30 on Saturday, Nov. 22. The game will be broadcasted on CBS.

PREDICTION: Ole Miss 20, Arkansas 24

Monterey researchers take first-ever known video of mysterious black seadevil

A research team conducting a dive in Monterey Bay off the coast of California have captured first-ever video of a rarely-seen denizen of the deep called the black seadevil.

The creature was spotted this week in the dark, deep waters 1,900 feet below the surface by researchers with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.

Robinson said a luminescent "fishing pole" projecting from the anglerfish's head is a glowing lure to attract prey."We've been diving out here in the Monterey Canyon regularly for 25 years, and we've seen three," MBARI Senior Scientist Bruce Robinson told the San Jose Mercury News Friday.

Robinson told the paper they captured the fish to study, but don't know how long it will survive.

MyFox Los Angeles posted the institute's two-minute-long video on its website, while pointing out that although the black seadevil seems menacing as its swims towards the camera, it is only about 3.5 inches long.

Little is known about the fish. Male black seadevils have a much shorter life span than females and are much tinier in comparison. Their sole purpose is to attach themself to a female, living as a parasite.

5 Family Members Killed: "Dream Trip" to Disney World

NEW ORLEANS — Michael and Trudi Hardman had always talked about taking their six children to Disney World, and just a week before Thanksgiving, it seemed their "dream trip" was to be a reality.

But just a little more than three hours after they took to the road Wednesday night, their SUV veered off a highway and rolled over in Louisiana, killing them and three of the kids.

Police believe the couple's 16-year-old son apparently fell asleep behind the wheel of the SUV en route from Terrell, Texas, to Orlando, Florida.

The driver, who was not identified, was charged with reckless operation of a vehicle following the 11 p.m. crash on Interstate 20 near Calhoun, Louisiana, state police spokesman Michael Reichardt said.

Michael Hardman's brother, Timothy Hardman, said the driver and two passengers were injured, one critically.

The teen driver veered left onto the median and then tried to get back onto the highway but overcorrected, causing the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe to roll over, police said.

Michael and Trudi Hardman were both primary-school teachers from Terrell, Texas. Also killed were sons Dakota Watson, 15, and Adam Hardman, 7; and daughter Kaci Hardman, 4, police said.

None of those killed wore seat belts but the driver did, officials said.

The distance between Terrell and Orlando is about 1,050 miles — a 16-hour drive. The family left their home in Terrell about 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to Timothy Hardman, meaning the accident occurred early in the journey.

Michael Hardman was a second-grade teacher at an elementary school in Terrell, said Terrell Independent School District Superintendent Michael French. He had worked in the district for two years, French said.

Hardman also was a little league baseball coach who coached his sons, one of whom, 12-year-old Aaron Hardman, was in critical condition at a Shreveport hospital, Timothy Hardman said.

"He never turned a kid away," Timothy Hardman said. "Michael probably had the biggest heart of anybody you ever knew. He just loved kids."

The driver and the other injured passenger were treated at the hospital and released Thursday morning, Hardman said.

French said a counselor contacted the parents of students in Michael Hardman's class to let them know about his death, and counselors also are available to support both staff and students.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family members, colleagues, students and friends," he said. "We must lift each other up during this difficult time," French said.

Trudi Hardman was a kindergarten teacher at Wills Point Primary school and had worked for the Wills Point Independent School District for about 10 years, Superintendent Suzanne Blasingame said in an email.

Blasingame said Michael Hardman also had formerly taught at Wills Point Primary.

"Our school and community is grieving for this family," said Blasingame, who had traveled to Louisiana to be with the family.

Timothy Hardman, 38, of Crandall, Texas, said his brother and Trudi Hardman were married about five years ago and had six children between them. Michael Hardman had three boys from a previous marriage, while Trudi Hardman had two boys from a previous marriage, Timothy Hardman said. The couple had a daughter, Kaci, together, he said.

Timothy Hardman, who traveled to Louisiana after he was notified of the accident, said his brother's family had scheduled the trip about nine months ago, and had planned to stay at Disney World for a week.

"They've always talked about it," he said. "It was their dream trip. It was an opportunity for them to take all of their kids."

Police don't believe the young driver was impaired, but a toxicology sample was taken. The stretch of I-20 where the deadly crash took place is flat and straight and the weather was clear, they said.

"Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of the people affected by this tragic crash," said Col. Mike Edmonson, the Louisiana State Police superintendent. "In an instance, this family vacation turned into an unspeakable tragedy."

Stengle reported from Dallas, Texas. Associated Press writer Bill Fuller in New Orleans contributed to this report.
